Our Barnsley Story

Our founder’s love affair with Barnsley dates back to 1991. As a young architecture student interested in history and preservation, Ili became aware of the resort’s cottages, gardens, and unique township plan when newly developed.

With Barnsley, her passion for design, history, and nature, converged at a short distance from Kingston Downs where she enjoyed her love of equestrian sports.

Upon learning of the resort’s future expansion into residential development, it seemed like kismet. Ili’s more than 30 years of residential design experience is a great match to the next chapter in Barnsley history. A place that captured her heart many years ago and still feels like home today.

A place that she defines as gracious in Lifestyle, rooted in Legacy, and quietly sophisticated in Luxury.

Our team provides unique designs, specifications, procurement, installation, and lifestyle styling to select clients. We excel at defining custom homes and boutique spaces that feel fresh and modern without losing sight of history and tradition.

We work side-by-side with Terracotta Design Build, the architecture and construction unit that started it all in 2005, as well as with builders, and homeowners across the nation.

While we are rooted in Georgia, the design sensibility of the team and its leaders spans cultures and styles with broad and timeless appeal.
